Who I am & How it all started 👋 Welcome to Black Ursus! I'm Daniel, the founder behind this label from the heart of Vienna 📍. The idea for Black Ursus didn't come from a drawing board, but from pure frustration: I simply couldn't find cool gym shirts and streetwear pieces that met my expectations – and certainly not in all sizes 😤.
Often, true streetwear stops at XL or XXL. But those who train hard or are naturally broader built don't want to settle for boring standard shirts. I wanted to change that. That's why I founded Black Ursus. 🚀

How can I ensure the size I order from Black Ursus fits? 🚨

We know how hard it is to find the perfect fit. That's why this piece is available from S to 5XL.
Good to know: The chart shows the exact measurements of our pieces, not your body measurements. Simply measure your best-fitting item at home and compare the values with our size chart to find the perfect fit.
  • For a regular look: Order your usual size.
  • For the perfect oversized & gym pump look: Order one size up.
⚡ Important information for our sizes 3XL to 5XL (Massive Builds)
Especially for our big guys: From size 3XL, our hoodies and shirts mainly increase in width (shoulders & chest) to provide the necessary space for massive physiques. However, they don't get significantly longer. So, if you are very tall and strong, the item will fit nicely wide, but won't reach your knees.

 

🐻 Size Guide: Premium Piqué Polo

The Fit: Bring the smart-casual vibe to the street or the gym. Our Premium Polo, made from high-quality piqué fabric, has a classic European fit. Compared to our Heavyweight T-Shirts, it is significantly more body-hugging and athletic. The sleeves are a little tighter on the bicep, and the waist is slightly tailored.
How to find your size (Note: it runs slimmer!):
  • Athletic / Tailored Fit: Do you want the polo to fit athletically and body-hugging (and on the biceps)? Then choose your normal size.
  • Regular / Relaxed Fit: Do you prefer it a bit looser and more comfortable? Then definitely order one size up from our regular T-shirts.
  • Oversize Look: Polos are inherently more classic in cut. If you want that typical wide, baggy skater or streetwear polo look, go at least two sizes up.
⚡ Important note for the crew: Since this polo has a European cut, we always recommend ordering one size up if in doubt – especially if you have broad shoulders or a more massive back!
 

🐻 Size Guide: Heavyweight T-Shirt 

The Fit: This shirt is not a thin, tight-fitting fashion top. It's made from heavy, durable cotton and has the typical, slightly angular "Boxy Fit" of the 90s. It falls straight down and doesn't cling to the body – the perfect pump cover.
How to find your size:
  • Regular Fit: The shirt runs true to size. Order your standard size for a classic, straight look.
  • Oversize / Pump-Cover Look: If you want the sleeves to fall a little longer over the biceps and prefer the loose street style, take one size up.

The Fit: Our Heavy Blend Hoodie has a classic, straight cut (Classic Fit) and is super comfortable. It's softly brushed on the inside – perfect for cold days or warming up at the gym.
How to find your size:
  • Regular Fit (Normal Fit): Order your usual size. The hoodie is true to size.
  • Relaxed / Gym-Pump Fit: Do you want a little more space for broad shoulders? Take one size up.
  • Oversize Streetwear Look: Do you love the extremely wide, casual style? Then order two sizes up.

The Fit: The absolute classic for the old-school gym look. The Crewneck Sweatshirt, just like our hoodie, has a classic cut with no annoying side seams (Tubular Fit).
How to find your size:
  • Regular Fit (Normal Fit): Runs true to size. Take your standard size.
  • Relaxed / Gym-Pump Fit: If you prefer it looser during training or want the sweater to fall casually, choose one size up.
  • Oversize Streetwear Look: For a really wide, baggy vibe, take two sizes up.

 

🐻 Size Guide: Youth Heavyweight T-Shirt 

The Fit: For the next generation of the Black Ursus Crew! The Youth T-Shirt brings the exact same vibe as the shirt for adults. It's made of heavy, durable cotton that can withstand any playground, skate park, or school tournament unscathed. Here too, we have the classic, slightly more angular cut (Classic Fit) that falls loosely and doesn't restrict movement.
How to find the right size for Kids & Teens: The sizes (usually XS to XL) are roughly based on age and height. However, since kids grow quickly, here are our tips:
  • Regular Fit (Normal Fit): Order the size that corresponds to the child's current age/height. The shirt runs true to size and offers enough freedom of movement.
  • Growth Buffer / Relaxed Fit: If you want the shirt to fit a bit looser and still fit next year, order one size up.
  • Mini-Streetwear / Oversize Look: Kids also love the wide skater look! For a truly casual baggy style, choose one to two sizes up and coolly roll up the sleeves.
⚡ Important note for parents: Cotton can shrink minimally during the first wash. If the child is exactly between two sizes, it's better to choose the larger size – after all, oversize always works with our brand!

It's super soft brushed on the inside, keeps warm, and effortlessly handles any skate park visit or romp in the schoolyard. It has a classic, comfortable cut (Classic Fit) with the typical kangaroo pocket in the front.
🚨 Safety First: To meet strict safety standards for children's clothing, this hoodie comes completely without a drawstring in the hood. Full style, zero risk during play!

✨ Care Guide: Keep it Fresh

Here's the secret recipe to keep your new Black Ursus piece as fresh as day one:
  • 🧊 Wash cold & inside out: Wash your item at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle. Be sure to turn it inside out first – this is the absolute golden rule to protect the print.
  • 🚫 No fabric softener: Keep your hands off the fabric softener! The chemicals attack the print and make it crumble.
  • 🌬️ Air Dry Only: The dryer is the ultimate enemy for fit and motif (heat makes your item shrink). Just hang it out to air dry.
  • 🔥 Iron with caution: If you need to iron, do so only inside out and at a low temperature. Never iron directly over the print with a hot iron!

Did you click "Buy" too soon or decide on a different design at the last minute? No stress, it happens. But now you need to be extremely quick! Because at Black Ursus, we print each piece fresh and exclusively for you (print-on-demand), your order usually goes to the machines shortly after it's placed. So there is a window for cancellations, but it's short.
Here's how to cancel your order in time:
  1. Email me immediately: Send an email directly to support@blackursus.at
    (Very important: Be sure to include your order number right away so we don't lose a second!)
  2. We'll check the status: I'll quickly check if your item is already in production or if we can stop the process in time.
  3. You'll get an update: We'll contact you directly and let you know if the cancellation went through.

🚨 The hard limit (Please note):


Cancellations are only possible as long as the production of your unique item has not yet started. Once the printers are running, there is unfortunately absolutely no turning back – from then on, the piece is firmly reserved for you. So if you made a mistake, don't wait, contact us immediately!

Did you get the size wrong or accidentally type in an old shipping address? No stress, it happens to the best of us. But speed is of the essence here: changes or cancellations are only possible before production starts.

Since I work on a print-on-demand basis, your order is often sent to the print shop shortly after you place it. As soon as the machines are running and your item is being produced exclusively for you, we can unfortunately no longer stop, change, or cancel the process.

So, it's better to take a few extra seconds at checkout. Calmly check your shopping cart again, compare your measurements with our size guides, and verify your address. This ensures that your new gear arrives smoothly and exactly how you want it.

⚡ Need to change something immediately?


If you notice a mistake immediately after clicking "Buy," don't hesitate! Send an email immediately to support@blackursus.at. If I catch your message before printing begins, I'll fix it for you!
Track your order with Black Ursus 📦
As soon as your custom-made piece leaves the manufacturer, I will send you a shipping confirmation by email. This will include your personal tracking link, which you can use to keep a close eye on where your package is.
How to check your delivery status:
  1. Open our shipping confirmation in your emails (also check your spam folder just in case).
  2. Click on the tracking link.
  3. You will see directly on the shipping service provider's website when your new outfit will arrive.

How long does delivery take for my Black Ursus order? ⏱️

At Black Ursus, there's no off-the-shelf mass production. Every piece is crafted exclusively for you only after you place your order. This ensures uncompromising quality and protects the environment, but it also means: It takes a few days longer than with the big fast fashion giants.

⏱️ When will your piece arrive?


Typically, the delivery time is up to 10 business days for Germany and Austria (other EU countries up to 12 days). The clock starts ticking as soon as your order has been successfully received and production begins.
We always give 100% so you can rock your new fit in the gym or on the street as quickly as possible. Please understand that in rare cases (e.g., extremely high order volume after a new drop), slight delays may occur. But trust me: It's worth the wait!

🌱 Why does it take longer than other shops?


Simply put: Because your hoodie or shirt hasn't been waiting for you in a dusty warehouse for months. Since we rely on print-on-demand, there is a waiting period that doesn't exist with conventional stock items. Your item is printed on-demand – no overproduction, no waste. Just pure quality, tailored precisely to you.

📍 Where is my package? (Tracking)


As soon as your order is freshly printed and packed, it goes on its journey. You will then immediately receive a shipping confirmation including a tracking number by email. This way, you always know when your package will arrive.

🐻 Returns & Exchanges – Fair Play for the Crew

I want you to love your new piece from Black Ursus. If something doesn't fit or is faulty, I'll find a solution. But before you send anything back, please take two minutes to understand my philosophy:
🌱 My Print-on-Demand Promise

I'm not a fast-fashion corporation with huge warehouses. Every item you order is printed exclusively and freshly for you. This protects the environment and avoids waste.

Therefore, my big request to the crew: Please do not blindly order three sizes to choose from and then send two back. Before ordering, be sure to check my detailed Size Guide with the products. If you're unsure, just send me a quick email to support@blackursus.at – I'd be happy to advise you!
Should something still go wrong, the following rules apply:

1. Is there a quality issue? (Printing error, damaged) 🚨

Shit happens, even with the best quality control. If your hoodie or shirt has a printing error, was delivered incorrectly, or arrives damaged, I'll take care of it immediately – and it's free for you.
  • Here's how: Send me an email within 14 days of receipt to support@blackursus.at.
  • Important: Include 1-2 sharp photos of the defect and your order number. I'll check it with our print shop, and you'll receive a free replacement product as soon as possible. In this case, you usually don't even have to send the defective item back!

2. The size doesn't fit or you don't like it? (Withdrawal) 📦

You have the legal right to return your order within 14 days of receipt without stating a reason.
  • The condition: The item must be unworn (trying it on is of course okay!), unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • The costs: Since I'm a small, independent label from Vienna and your clothing was produced on-demand, I cannot (unlike large mass producers) offer free returns. You bear the costs for return shipping yourself.

3. How the return works 🔄


If you want to return an item, you can easily do so via our returns portal:
  • Register return: Click here to access my returns portal account.blackursus.at and log in with the email address you used for the order.
  • Select items: In your order overview, simply select the items you want to return and state the reason for the return.
  • If the portal doesn't work or you have questions, you can of course send me an email at support@blackursus.at anytime!
  • Pack securely: Pack the unworn item well (preferably in its original packaging).
  • Back to Vienna: Send the sufficiently franked package to our returns address:
